2023 Open Enrollment

2023 Open Enrollment is now closed!  No changes to your 2023 benefits will be accepted outside of Open Enrollment unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event (i.e., marriage, divorce, loss of coverage).  If you have questions regarding the 2023 benefits, contact BenefitsConnections at 877-241-9624 or benefitsconnections@genlp.com.

What is Changing in 2023?

Changes to the 2023 health & welfare benefit program include:

Reminders

  • This is a good time to update/review your life insurance beneficiary in Dayforce and your 401(k) beneficiary in Fidelity.
  • Make sure your home mailing address is up-to-date in Dayforce.  This will ensure you receive important notices and ID cards.

 

Enroll Through Ceridian Dayforce

To reset your password to Ceridian Dayforce, follow these instructions.

STEP 1  Access Ceridian Dayforce from your home or work computer

Single Sign-On from Home: Go to the Genesis portal (then under HR for Alkali) and click the link “Ceridian Dayforce”. You will have automatic access through single-sign on.

Online from Home: Go to the following website https://www.dayforcehcm.com/MyDayforce/MyDayforce.aspx

  • For company enter: Genesis
  • For username enter: Employee ID number
  • Password: Login credentials you use to sign into the Genesis network
  • Click “Login”

STEP 2  Once you’ve logged in, click on “Benefits”.  Then, click on “Start Enrollment” from the list of available enrollments. Read each page, make your selections, then click “Next” to continue.

If you have trouble accessing Ceridian Dayforce or need a password reset, contact IT Helpdesk by submitting a request to helpdesk@genlp.com or by calling (713) 860-2512.

 

Dependent Verification Requirements

Any time you add a new child or spouse to medical, dental, vision you will be asked to provide documentation confirming the new dependent meets the plan’s eligibility rules.

For Open Enrollment, documentation must be provided by the end of the enrollment period and can be submitted through Dayforce as part of the enrollment process. For additional information check page 6 of your Benefits Guide.

Detailed information on the dependent verification requirements can be found in the Benefits Dependent Verification Document Requirements. Please review and complete the dependent verification process in a timely manner.

Remember, if you fail to complete the dependent verification and enrollment process, coverage for the dependent will not be added. You will need to wait until the next Open Enrollment period to add the dependent.
