ZZZ2021 Open Enrollment – Union

Open Enrollment is Here!

Open Enrollment begins Monday, November 2 and ends Friday, November 20.

This is your opportunity to enroll, drop or make changes to your health and welfare benefits for the 2021 plan year. If you do not make changes for 2021, your 2020 elections will carry forward with the exception of Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions. You must make new annual contribution elections for account-based plans each year. This is also your opportunity to enroll or drop voluntary coverage like Optional Life or the Legal Plan and enroll or drop dependent coverage.

Changes to the 2021 health & welfare benefit program include:

  • New! Medical rate increase for 2021; Genesis has been able to maintain your current dental and vision rates in 2021.  Click here to view new medical rates.
  • New! HSA and FSA limits have increased for 2021.
  • New! You can now enroll in Optional Life and/or Optional AD&D separately; allowing you the opportunity to customize your plan choices to what fits best for your life.  Spouse and Child eligibility is still dependent on the employee enrolling in Optional Life and/or Optional AD&D.
  • New! Employee Assistance Provider from SupportLinc.
    • Short-Term Counseling –  Members may receive up to five (5) in-person or telephonic counseling sessions with a licensed clinician to address issues such as depression, stress, relationship problems, grief, substance abuse, anxiety or other emotional health concerns.
    • Free Legal Services – Free telephonic or (30-minute) face-to-face consultation with a local attorney.
    • Expert Referrals – Provide referrals to resources that help address a wide range of issues such as child or elder care, adoption, pet care, home repair, education and housing needs.
    • Free Financial Services – Provides expert financial planning and consultation through our network of licensed financial counselors.
